Leontodon hispidus L.and genus
Leontodon L.(Asteraceae) found on the Shandong University (Weihai) campus are both reported as new records from China.
Leontodon hispidus L.is recognized by its solitary heads,coarsely hispid leaves and peduncles,and pappi with long plumose and short non-plumose bristles.The morphological characters of this genus and species were examined,and their values and invasive risks were discussed in this paper.An identification key was also created using the morphological characteristics of the genus and related genera.
