Abstract:
The localization of proteins in plant cells is the key to understanding protein function, gene regulation, and protein-protein interactions. In recent years, with the rapid development of various protein-subcellular localization methods and continuous improvement in technology, protein-subcellular localization has achieved high-throughput and
in vivo dynamic research. In this paper, we summarize current research progress on the common techniques of plant protein subcellular localization and development of organelle-specific markers. We also present future perspectives in this research field.
