Anisocampium×saitoanum (Athyriaceae), a newly recorded hybrid to China

  • Anisocampium×saitoanum (Sugim.) M. Kato (Athyriaceae) is reported as a new record from Anling Town, Qimen County, Anhui Province, China. The plant is a putative natural hybrid between A. sheareri (Baker) Ching and A. niponicum (Mett.) Yea C. Liu, W. L. Chiou et M. Kato. The morphological characteristics of the hybrid were intermediate between the two parental species. Morphological description, line drawings, and a taxonomic key to the genus Anisocampium are provided herein.
