Studies on the Chemical Constituents of Volatile Oil of Mosla dianthera Maxim. Grown in Fujian Province

  • The chemical components of the volatile oil from Mosla dianthera Maxim.have been studied by means of the GC/MS/DS.Thirty nine constituents have been identified from forty three separated peaks.The major components are thymol (37.15%),carvacrol (14.85%),caryophyllene(5.75%),linalool (5.40%),santalene(4.12%),humulene (3.61%),sabonil(2.87%) etc.The major components make up to 9840% of total oils.The content of each constituent was determined by area normalization method.
