Studies on the Chemical Constituents of Volatile Oil of Mosla dianthera Maxim. Grown in Fujian Province

The chemical components of the volatile oil from Mosla dianthera Maxim.have been studied by means of the GC/MS/DS.Thirty nine constituents have been identified from forty three separated peaks.The major components are thymol (37.15%),carvacrol (14.85%),caryophyllene(5.75%),linalool (5.40%),santalene(4.12%),humulene (3.61%),sabonil(2.87%) etc.The major components make up to 9840% of total oils.The content of each constituent was determined by area normalization method.
